Friday Noon- Dukes lunch with Catman, Jr, Dangerous, Gwedo, & Wu man! Solid burgers to kick off the visit!!
2pm- check into the AVP... Margs in the box watching May & Walsh dominate the ladies bracket.
730pm check into Fairmont, rally up for Cubalibre dinner at 9:30.. Actually get seated at 10:15 after Gwedo seduced the Red Headed manager... 2 Free apps, Guac and nachos to get the boys rolling... Kettle ones all around, Dangerous sipping the Bud Lite... Taco platters for dinner...
11pm Knox St Pub on FIRE!! Jr and Griever were impressed with the fine selection of BIRDS in the house... Jaw dropping at one point for Jr Round table in the lobby at 230am

Sat- Dangerous rolls out early for bag of McDonalds... BIG DAY ahead of us..... 10am check into AVP for more action... wild scene erupts when one player dehrated himself to the point of explosion... took 5 crew members to hold him down... Ambulance and police on the scene... Rogers and Dalhauser rocked to the championship around 5pm
6pm double rally time back at Fairmont, headed to Stars game in the Hicks suite... Run into Donna and Kelly at the platium club... Kelly said she wanted to set me up on a blind date.. Interesting... Burgers for me and the Wu man, kettle and sodas flowing.. plenty of tail in the platinum club, stars win, stars win, stars win... 10pm head over to the W Hotel with 15 people in our crew to check into Ghost Bar... Rumors of Tony Romo's birthday were true... Romo and Underwood rocked the DJ booth for a good solid hour.. Some of Romo's selections included The Outfield, Journey, Van Halen, & Pour Some Sugar on me.... High fives with Romo all around, Underwood is a total DOLL.. plenty of pics and videos on cam phone After Romo viewing Gwedo and I head back over to one of the 5 tables we had cooking with the AVP folks to find Champagne flowing like the Amazon river... Fire one back with Sosa and break into dance mode... Meet Veronica and her crew of chics... Fun Birds! Don't recall going home from Ghost.. Dangerous brings Laura back to hotel for post party..

Sun Tough rally for Womens Final at Noon! Crew is hazy and dehydrated... Check into box around 1145 for fajitas and beers.... Stonebarger and Moore on the sofas posted up!! Nice! May and Walsh take the womens title... Darrick gets mini ball signed by the winners.. Walsh comes up for a beer after the match... Sinjin Smith doing beers with us also.... 3pm head to Bone Daddys in grapevine, party of 12.... The look on Sinjin's eyes was priceless when he saw the talent working there... LOL Food and drinks all around... Cat and Jr bolt about 530 to catch their flights... down to Darrick and Windy so we transiton to the bar.... Hawthorne rolled up for some action... It was pleasant to sip cocktails with Windy while watching A.I and the Nuggets rip up San Antonio... Look out MAVS fans, A.I is headed your way.... only if Golden State doesn't break your heart!
Midnight Windy drops me off at apt.... Nite Nite....

Weekend Wrap

Friday- Scurry home to take cover from Wild Storm headed for city! Barricade myself in laundry room at the sounds of "Pearl Harbor" outside... Text I received @ 6:33pm, "I just danced by myself in the Rain! Come over! Bring bottle of wine!" Ohhhh RIghty then!! Names shall remain annonymous....

Sat- Meet the boys at Animias Tex Mex for lunch.... I thought I looked like hell until I walked in and saw Dangerous wearing sunglasses and holding his head... He looked like Jimmy Walker at a Betty Ford convention! Apparently the local celebrity went on a bender Friday night while I was enjoying Fat Tire and Wine with the booty texter... I was concerned at lunch since we only had 4 hours to rally for the Sosa birthday party... Sent D home to take nap while I ran some errands.. D picks me up around 545pm and we head to Bone Daddy's for some grubb... Only problem was this place was jam packed at 6pm.. WTF? Plan B was Hooters in Addison, always a good option... Leave dinner and attempt to check into motel six accross from Black Finn... No rooms sold out... go accross street and try and check into Holiday inn express... No luck... go next door to Hampton Inn, still no luch... Did I mention this was a Nascar weekend in north texas.. Why in the world would these people elect to stay in a hotel 65 minutes from the track?? Finally decide to go with the "SURE THING" and head over to the PRAVA suites! We make phone call just to make sure of availability.... Guy says they have rooms with 2 doubles so we head over.. Upon walking up to the desk and asking for a room with 2 doubles guy says actually we just sold our last double room, however I can get you an executive corner suite at the same price... SOLD!! Meantime we were suppose to be seated at Pete's Piano bar at 8pm and it was 8:15 when we finally get into the room... Double Rally time!! Big Wu comes over for cocktails and we hop shuttle at 9pm... Wu talking dirty to shuttle driver on the way over... Standard Cab/Shuttle banter on the way to bar... Fire Up at Pete's for Sosa Surprise party! Wonder if the surprise was ruined when sosa walked up in line and saw Beau and Audrey in front of him.. lol They actually put the lil pistol on stage with 8 other chics who had birthdays... Then they had him get up on the piano and perform dance moves while a blonde stood in front of him with her toungue out...It was actually kinda of impressive until you could see lil Sosa mouth "i'm sorry" to his GF taking pictures in the 3rd row.... lol Head to sherlocks at 11pm for second set of the MAX! Opening song is JT cover, Sexy Back... Place on FIRE!! Gotta luv a cover band that keeps up with the times!!

Sunday- Shea comes over to hotel around 11am sporting the same hangover Darrick had the day before... 25th birthday party will do that to you... Head down to lobby to print out edgefest tickets... I hit ATM for stamps for fear the ATM's at show will be drained by 2pm... Pick up some McDonalds and head for show... Did I mention I have no Idea where Im going..... lol end up in Mckinney... Finally back track to tollway and find venue Roll into show about 1pm with Bowling for Soup playing... Gorgeous day compared to the 90 degree heat we had the year before... We are not in the place 20 seconds and I run into Sweet Connie the server from Bostons... She is working a coors light stand and hooks me up with 5 dollar beers the entire show... This is good considering full price is 8 dollars.. What a blessing from the alcohol gods! Meanwhile my hungover concert friend is on water all dam day.... She must of enjoyed baking in the heat all afternoon with Papa Roach yelling "I cant Fucking hear YOU!" lol Very decent show compared to a year ago.... Papa Roach and AFI were solid and the show ended with a bang with My Chemical Romance and the Killers to close!!!

Another LoopMvp weekend in the books.... Time to get ready for Catman and Jr to roll into town Friday at noon for an AVP RIPPPPPER!

Beware of the Nuggets

It appears that the A.I/Carmelo Anthony combination finally is working for Denver, which complements the scoring punch of its All-Star tandem with a couple of shot-blocking big men in Nene and Marcus Camby.
The Nuggets' late-season surge has included wins over Phoenix and DALLAS, and they'll conclude their regular season with a game against the Spurs next week. Beating any one of those three teams in a playoff series would be a major accomplishment, but with the way Denver is finally playing, it's not out of the question.

Wu's Birthday Weekend

Thurs- Take Dena up to Mi Cocina in Southlake to meet Big Wu and lyndsay for a birthday dinner.... Large Tecates flowing, tacos, nachos.... 80 dollar tab.... Head over to Glass Cactus and walk in right as soon as The MAX starts ripping "hurt so good" Wu on a rope at this point.. Jeff, Jenny, & Bob show up... Bob and Wu man do large Royal Fuck Shot at bar... Then Bob buys 4 Jager Bombs.. He must of said super size because these bad boys were large enough to choke a donkey!! Jesus!! Bone 93 girls, plenty of dancing, nice Birthday RIP for Wu...

Friday- The Local Celebrity picks me up at Champps at 5pm.... Head over to liquor store for 150.00 party box of goodies... 1 750 Citron, 1 liter Morgan, 1 box 20 Buds, 1 Box 20 Miller Lights, 1 12 pack of Rona... Check into Prava suites at 6pm.... Melissa comes over with her "girlfriends" for happy hour in the room... Says she wants to get ripped in honor of her being single again... Nice 3 hour slush session telling war stories with K104 pumping on the clock radio... Head down to FINN at 930 to meet Sweeeet Caroline, Greg, and the Wu MAN! Set up shop in the back room... Dangerous is dancing it up with every skirt in sight, Wu MAN keeps ordering kettle sodas with a splash of cranberry, Bob nursing his miller light patiently waiting for a woman to converse with him.... FINN on FIRE as usual with MAVS game working on the FLATS.... Oh and by the way it was nice to see MY NUGGETS slay the dragon Sat night in front of all my Dallas MAVS friends! Wu flipped me the bird at the buzzer... lol Post party back at prava with 26.00 bucks worth of taco bueno... Caroline, Gregg, Dangerous, and Loops chow down!

Sat- Lunch at Juncle Julios with Wu and D. Transition hotels and check into Hyatt downtown! They put us on 3 which conveniently was the same floor with access to HOT TUB! D and I clock in at 2pm and take beers out to Tub! Nothing better than sipping sodas in Hot Tub while it's 39 degrees out and flakes flying.... Head in for 30 min nap with Masters on in background... Elrod and TK check in to hotel around 3pm... Show up wearing bath robes from hotel... Round 2 in Hot Tub, this Time D decides to stay on the side lines and just drink on the deck... Meet crazy people from Houston visiting people they hooked up with on a cruise... 8 deep in Hot Tub at one point.. I'm thinking "what the hell is going ON" One girl doing beer tricks with bottle, deep throating the bottom end... Then she tells us about security walking in her room the previous night while her and Mississippi boy were tied up naked in bed... Gave crazy people invite to Walrus and headed back to room... Pre Party starts 7pm, Beau and Audrey were the only takers for this one.... Nice hour and a half session getting tuned up for Big Wu's party at Walrus... D slams a six pack during pre party, Beau tells us about his 8 dollar shirt from Khols, Audrey tells us about her port "o" potty episode at Deff Lepard show the previous year... 830pm cram 8 people in van cab that only carries six... Cab guy.. "how many people we go in here" Shaw B "Six" lets head for the Walrus.... Cab guy must of been about 80 and could have passed for Fred Sanfords cousin... Road sodas for all in cab, Beau doing his best Sanjaya act in back of cab... Cab guy says, keep your day job buddy... lol Squirrel out of cab like some circus act, howel at the MOON, I think Ronnie heard me from the bar, and head inside... Bar is dead as a door nail but this crew can work with any situation... after 2 1'2 hour private party the BAR is packed with Gwedo rockin the house and getttttin LOW! Shots flying, Digital pics flashing, Vodka Sodas flowing! A Rocking B Day Party for the Wu MAN Busts out!~
